Lunettes De Vue South

Since the Precambrian Era, when the Earth was still hot, I would walk into Eye Glass stores and get talked out of the frames I want by either loved ones or by the sales help.Of course, I was much younger then and had hair and face fuzz, Now I am a well-seasoned giant old fart with features that look like an old peice of wood with gray porcupine quills on my face. While this look won't score points with the ladies anymore, it does lend itself to the minimalistic look of the South Gunmetal frames, sort of a Santa Clause thing, if you will. Now the question is will they hold up under the rigors of an older person who knows how to take care of them. We'll see (Pun intended!).

I like the fit and look of these but I have a super thick prescription and the lenses had to have longer bolts and nuts to hold the thickness of the lens. The bolts were visible in the edges of my vision and made me feel cross eyed. Otherwise awesome glasses and the company was great with the return and even tried helping me find new glasses.
